Great for beginners wanting to learn the foundations of sewing in a relaxed, one-on-one setting. Students will learn sewing machine basics, threading, understanding fabric and tools, straight stitching, and simple sewing techniques to build confidence and comfort at the machine.
Introduction classes are 90 minutes.
2 Class Package
Price: $190
Designed for beginners ready to build confidence through hands-on practice and beginner-friendly projects. Students choose a project to create. You’ll continue developing sewing fundamentals while learning how to read simple patterns, work with a variety of fun fabrics and apply foundational techniques used in garment and project construction, like using bias tape or adding a lining to a garment.
Each class is 2 hours.
4 Class Package
Price: $385
Perfect for students wanting more time to strengthen their skills and take on larger or more personalized projects. Lessons are tailored to your pace and creative goals while building confidence in sewing techniques like serged seams, garment construction, and finishing details.

Do I need sewing experience?
No experience is needed. Lessons are beginner-friendly and designed to help students feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
Do I need to bring my own sewing machine?
No. Sewing machines and basic studio tools are available to use during lessons. If you have your own sewing machine and want to work on that, you can bring it!
Can I rent a sewing machine?
Yes - if you’re enrolled in a class package you can rent a machine to work on for $50 for 30 days. Repetition is the key to getting better at sewing and working on more complex items.
How do I pay for classes?
I accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal.
Are materials included?
Basic materials, common notions, and select fabrics are included. Specialty fabrics or project-specific materials may need to be purchased separately depending on the project, or for an additional cost, I can source the items for you.
What kinds of projects can I make?
Honestly? Tell me what YOU want to make and I’ll help you make it. Brand new to sewing and you’d like to make a slip dress for date night? BET! Want to propose to your partner with a handmade quilt? LET’S DO IT! Whatever you want to make, let’s have fun making it work. But let’s say you’re really uncertain and like for me to suggest some cool options, I can totally do that too :)
Are lessons private?
Yes! All lessons are one-on-one and personalized to each student’s experience level, interests, and goals.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons take place in my home sewing studio in a relaxed and creative environment.
Do you have animals?
Yes! I have two cats who are available for head pets and treats whenever you need a break. However, they do not have access into the studio.
How long are lessons?
The intro session is 90 minutes. Package lessons are 2 hours each to allow time for hands-on learning and project work.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.
